Privacy Policy: LeadScraper (Export LinkedIn Comments to Excel)

Last updated: 2026-10-12

What the extension does with LinkedIn data

The extension reads the comments visible on the LinkedIn page you have open and builds a CSV file on your computer. The commenter names, headlines, profile links, comment text and dates are processed locally in your browser and saved only to the file you download. They are never sent to the developer or to any third party.

What anonymous usage data we collect

To understand whether the extension works and which features are used, the extension sends anonymous usage counters to a server operated by the developer:

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, profile links, headlines, comment text or any other content from LinkedIn pages, your LinkedIn account details, your email address, your IP address for profiling, or your browsing history.

Local storage

The extension uses browser storage (the storage permission) only to keep the random identifier and a flag that the review reminder was already shown.

Sharing

We do not sell or share this data with third parties and do not use it for advertising or creditworthiness decisions. Usage counters are stored with a hosting provider (Supabase) that processes them on our behalf.

Uninstall survey and feedback

When you uninstall the extension, your browser may open an optional one-question survey page. The extension also links to a feedback page. Answering is voluntary. Whatever you type (a reason, a message and, if you choose, a way to reach you) is stored by the developer only to improve the extension. Please do not enter sensitive information.

Your choices

You can stop all data collection at any time by uninstalling the extension.
